Delivery Prices in Algeria: How to Set Your Wilaya Table

Delivery pricing is where many stores silently lose their margin. The courier's table is your cost; your checkout table is your price — and you should decide both before the first order, not during it.

Step 1 — Build your cost table

Ask your carrier for home-delivery and stop-desk prices for every wilaya you ship to. Two patterns appear fast: desk is cheaper than home, and the far south costs more than the center. Write both numbers per wilaya.

Step 2 — Set your price table

  • Flat approach: one honest price for the whole country (simplest, slightly protects you on far wilayas).
  • Per-wilaya approach: your cost plus a small cushion, so a returned parcel never eats a delivered one.
  • Turn off the extremes: if a far wilaya's math never works, disable it politely — the customer simply won't see it.

Step 3 — Use free shipping as a lever

"Free delivery above 5,000 DZD" raises average order value more than any discount code — because it pushes the customer to add one more item instead of cutting your price. Set the threshold so the extra item covers the shipping you swallow.

Step 4 — Review monthly

Track delivery success per carrier and per wilaya. If one route returns too often, its real cost is double — repricing a single wilaya is allowed and smart.

On DzStore, your wilaya table is set once and applied to every order — with office/home options per destination. Open your free store and set your table with real courier numbers.
